Overview

Zenetex has an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. This work is in support of the NSWC DD Dam Neck Activity Systems and Training Division based in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities
Partner with Project Engineer and Program Manager on a wide variety of project functions, to include:
Provide project leadership and communications with stakeholders
Assist with project planning, budgets, and scheduling
Identify potential project risks
Review project assessments to determine areas requiring improvement
Provide project management training to enhance project manager skills, tools, and processes for improved business results
Perform quality assessments
Assist with reporting and documenting project objectives
Provide stakeholder briefings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or managerial discipline is required
Project Management Institute Certification (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) may be substituted for three (3) years of work experience
10 years of full time professional experience in project management
Ability to positively and effectively interact with individuals at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Must be proficient with MS Office and MS SharePoint
Experience with MS Project
Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence Project Management software
Desired:
Experience with Kanban/Agile Methodologies
