Job Description:

The Weapons and Platforms Center within SI&T seeks talented recent graduates to join our teams as Systems Engineers supporting Lab or Platform Integration, Verification, and/or Flight Test

We integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer.

Please note that due to the nature of our work, all roles require on-site presence up to 100%.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in our labs, in the field, or at a test range
Support qualification of our products
Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
Support test events, including flight test and field events, either in the US or internationally
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND
Experience in troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including exposure to the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, etc)
Experience completing data analysis using tools such as MATLAB
Willingness to travel
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Qualifications We Value:

Exposure to production environment, including production test
Exposure to various military platforms, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing systems
Proficiency with commonly used test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
Experience with analysis of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to analysis
Experience with reading and integrating C/C++/C# software routines with hardware/electronics
Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring
Experience scripting tools such as Python
Coursework in digital signal processing, algorithm development, electromagnetism
Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
