Job Summary:

Engineering Strategic Initiatives organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead our new RMD Engineering New Hire Onboarding Program, managing and executing all aspects of the Onboarding program for new hire engineers. This includes planning and logistics for scheduled content sessions and in-person activities; partnering and collaborating with Engineering Directorates; coordinating with existing RMD New Employee Orientation and other RMD programs; budget oversight and management; and regular evaluation of program effectiveness to meet business needs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Establishes and maintains key program metrics, defines program milestones/tactical direction and monitor adherence to budgets and schedules
Preparation and presentation at monthly and quarterly reviews with internal leadership
Provide strategic leadership to multi-functional teams and key partners
Oversee performance assessment, including measurement collection and analysis
Implement and monitor an effective action item tracking system to ensure complete and timely closure of action items
Often requires the ability to influence others outside of own job area and senior leadership
Responsible for coordinating logistics and delivery of virtual, hybrid and in-person events and activities
Responsible for growing the program in response to business needs
Integrate key business activities into a seamless business that can leverage best practices, people skills and cross utilization of assets
Lead Risk and Opportunity Management efforts
Leading quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews
Ability to work from the office some of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience is required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in program or project management
Experience with program management tools, IPDS, and/or collaboration tools
Experience with EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, IMP and/or IMS development

Qualifications We Value:

Program Management Level 6 certification or ability to achieve within 6 months
Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
3 years of experience as an IPT lead, program integrator or program manager
Strong communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership
Ability to work across business areas, manage diverse tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines while acting as a change agent, energizing the team to achieve beyond expectations
Strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional judgment and decision-making skills, with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business
