Required Skills:
SME user of CREO Cabling Module, Creo Cable Manufacturing (Flat) Module and CREO Schematic
Experienced user of CREO Windchill (Common PDM) data management tool
Mechanical design experience in electrical/mechanical packaging and harnessing
Background in manufacturing methods and processes of harness design such as IPC-WHMA-A-620 and/or SAE AS50881.
Candidate must have a full knowledge of industry practices and standards used in drafting, modeling, and design development
Candidate must be able to identify and correct design, model, or drawing deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Candidate must have good working knowledge of Large Assembly Management and ability to resolve External References.
Technical knowledge of common industry connector specifications (D38999, M24308, M83513) and their appropriate applications
Technical knowledge of Mil-Spec wire and cable
Technical knowledge sufficient to perform complex tasks such as preparation of all types of detail drawings, large assemblies, interface drawings, and various layouts for design concepts
Technical knowledge using documentation specifications such as MIL-DTL-31000, Y14.5M, ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.100
Ability to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Raytheon Drafting Standards and Mechanical Engineering Process for documentation preparation
Working knowledge of RMD processes and procedures
Experience with CREO Sheet Metal Module
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Effective oral and written communication skills / good communicator
Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
Self-starter
Demonstrate leadership skills
Existing secret clearance is highly desirable
Required Education:
Candidate shall hold a Bachelor Degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or related degree along with 4 years of working experience in a related field.
OR
5 years equivalent experience
