Job Summary:

RTX has an exciting career opportunity supporting the RMD Global Trade function. This position is for a Compliance Analyst within Global Trade Business Excellence Team responsible for the daily authorization management of assigned mission areas and product lines and will report to the Manager of Global Trade Business Excellence. This opportunity provides exposure and visibility in the field of Export/Import operations and its strategic impact on Enterprise success. The position can be remote or located at the Raytheon Technologies, Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) office in Woburn, MA or Tucson, AZ.  This is a critical role to keeping RMD business compliant with the Department of State and Department of Commerce Export/Import record keeping requirements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, developing relationships with internal customers and collaborating with team members for success.  Global Trade mitigates business risk for the Enterprise by allowing the Company to pursue international activity and meet financial targets while ensuring compliance with US export/import laws and regulations. Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the management and maintenance of RMD’s export/import license records, which include all electronic and paper documents; regularly interfacing with the RMD Export License Analysts and leads, as well as the Corporate Global Trade team in Washington, DC.

This job requires the management of hundreds of records. Attention to detail is critical. An error in recordkeeping may lead to a regulatory violation which may need to be disclosed to the Department of State or the Department of Commerce.

Ensuring records are compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Raytheon requirements.

Generating and analyzing reports to mitigate risk to ensure compliance while meeting recordkeeping requirements.

Mitigating risk with the authorization management team, the Business Excellence Manager, Directors, and Global Trade Sr. Director through reviewing status of license and agreement records.

Supports Global Trade Business Excellence and other Legal, Contracts, and Compliance teams by working projects as required.

Able to explain complex processes to audience with varying levels of knowledge and experience.

Willing to take on challenges and accept stretch assignments.

Ability to assess work and suggest process improvements to promote velocity and efficiency while maintaining regulatory and policy compliance.

Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to interpret and implement regulations and company policies accurately.

Qualifications you must have:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
Minimum of 5 years of related business experience.
Experience with US Government regulations (ITAR, EAR, ECR, Customs, BATFE and OFAC) and related record keeping requirements for the management of Export and Import authorizations.
Experience with OCR, DECCS, and SNAP-R systems.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
