Job Summary:
Air Dominance has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Program Manager (PM) to be assigned to the PAD working closely with the Program Area program teams on their Risk and Opportunity (R&O) plans. The Program Manager will support multiple challenging programs within the Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) Business Unit. The PM will work closely with the program leadership teams for the major programs, Chief Engineer, and functional organizations to drive best in class performance by identifying and tracking risks and opportunities to enable flawless performance on contracts and in proposal submittals.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Drive cross functional collaboration/relationship management across Cross Business Teams (CBT) (e.g., Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain), Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Finance and functions
Accountable to drive effective risk management processes and compliance across all functions on multiple programs
Lead across execution focused program/project manager team to ensure consistency and effective application of risk and opportunity processes
Inputs for functional tracking books, EACs, metrics, procedures, and action items follow-up.
Supports program start up process with R&O related workshops
Execute Risk and Opportunity Review Board cadence to meet contract commitments.
Lead R&O related lessons learned sessions for the program
Ensuring adequate risk and opportunity handling plans are developed and progress tracked by working with owners
Creating and analyzing program level metrics (e.g., Raytheon Missiles and Defense R&O metrics, burn down plans, exposure charts, tracking sheets, margin analysis, top R&Os, step tracker (handling plan execution)
Ensure implementation of Program Management Excellence best practices
Ensure program IMS adequately reflects R&O mitigation/capture plans
Review and reconcile EAC R&O status with register data
Serve as subject matter expert for Risk Management with the customer
This position will be an on-site role
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 5 years of relevant experience is required
Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management or closely related
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques or similar cost control
Experience with quality management or quality control such as root cause analysis (RCA), system problem solving, investigation or similar
An active and in-scope Secret US Security Clearance
Qualifications We Value:

Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
Experience with program risks and opportunities related to margin analysis on both proposals and estimates to completion
Experience with risk management tools

Demonstrated follow up/follow-thru on tasking
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certified
Program Management Certification
Advanced Six Sigma Certification (e.g., R6s Expert, Principal Specialist, Six Sigma Black belt or Master Black belt)
