Job Summary:

The Enterprise-Wide Area Network (eWAN) Active Directory Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the Active Directory environment of our enterprise-wide network serving critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can architect, design, deploy, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Active Directory environment across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your subject matter expertise collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex infrastructure problems.

This position is in Tewksbury, MA, with potential for domestic travel. We offer relocation.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Analyze current Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop solutions for improvement. 
End to end Installation, configuration, and migration of on-premises Active Directory
Analysis, design, capacity planning and implementation of Active Directory Security    
Provide level 3+ technical support in the Active Directory environment. 
Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts as needed.
Participate and provide inputs and recommendations in the design of standards and policies regarding AD Infrastructure services concerning operations. 
Monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of the Active Directory environment. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an associate degree and 10 years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in large multi-site mixed OS environments
Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Active Directory in a multi-site, multi-forest, and multi-domain environment utilizing Microsoft best practices.
Experience with Active Directory and related technologies (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, replication, Site topology, certificates, Kerberos, LDAP, and native AD tools). 
Experience with MS technologies (BitLocker, PowerShell, IIS,)
Experience withPowerShell scripting skills for configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
Experience troubleshooting Windows desktop operating systems including Windows 10/11 in a DISA STIG compliant environment.
Experience with AD integration of non-Windows operating systems, applications, and devices.
Must have an Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

Strong documentation skills
Linux OS including RHEL 6,7, and 8.
Virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere
Experience with NetApp and storage technologies
Experience with Quest Change Auditor & Quest Migration Manager
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Desire to learn new skills and troubleshoot issues.
Strong leadership skills and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically separated teams.
Strong understanding of fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
CISSP, CASP or equivalent certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of starting.
Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program (“NISP”) and the National Institute of Standards and Time (“NIST”) Risk Management Framework (“RMF”)
