Job Description
The Raytheon Intelligence and Space – Systems Engineering Team is looking for a Systems/Software Engineer.
The duties will include but not be limited to the following:
• Design and develop algorithms and prototypes
• Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/ development, interfacing with personnel from other organizations, as needed.
• Attend technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the development of his/her project.
• Provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.
• Provide document review and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues.

Security Clearance:
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Required Skills:
Demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record.
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
Experience of navigation and landing system
Specialty in Integrity and continuity monitors using Orbit Determination/Kalman Filter analysis
Ability to develop integrity monitor algorithms
Ability to code the integrity monitor in Matlab
Should be able to derive integrity monitor in ADD (Algorithm Description Documentation) and provide Integrity justifications to customers
Desired Skills:
•Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
•Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation
•Experience in SE process development and deployment
•Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations
•Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar resources
•Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with SW, Integration and Verification teams
Required Education Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is required. STEM degree is preferred. Along with 5+ years of relevant experience – OR
Master’s Degree STEM preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience
The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Employee Referral Award Eligibility: Only employees currently within RMD and RI&S have the potential to receive a Referral Award for submitting a referral to RMD and RI&S roles. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the Referral Awarding.
The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
