Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment. As part of the Systems Integration Team, the candidate with fill the role of a Systems Responsible Engineer (SRE), being responsible for environment readiness and working closely with the integration and test teams to make sure the overall system is up and running and available for test and checkout activities. The candidate will also provide engineering and technical support for the execution of a portion of the program’s test programs/processes including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation. They will also lead, assist, and support integration and test of the overall system build and checkout phase, as well as the integrated factory testing portion of the program.
Location: Aurora, CO

Security Clearance: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15,000 for a candidate with an Active TS/SCI clearance that can be verified when hired at RI&S.
Required Skills:
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration and Verification teams
• Experience in large scale system integration, largeScale system test and verification
• Experience with Gherkin, Behave, Python or similar applications
• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
• Solid foundation in Linux or UNIX
• Experience in test verification of requirements
• Experience with integration and test procedures and plans
• Knowledge of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration and Verification teams
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools
• Experience with PERL scripting language
• Security+ or equivalent certification
• Experience with SysML
• Knowledge of products with Atlassian tool suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence
• Experience with C++ language
• Experience with Containers such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with developing/integrating containerized Software
Education and Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
OR 6 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree (Typically STEM focused – Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $89,000 to $189,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”
