Raytheon is looking for a Material Program Manager (MPM). As a Material Program Manager, you’re a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. The Supply Chain Manager will need to be an excellent leader with demonstrated project management skills. This role will support products and program capture efforts by working closely with internal and external sources of supply chain, program management and other functional organizations to ensure Supply Chain successfully meets the program’s affordability schedule initiatives. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager serves as the liaison between the Program Executive, Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Serve as the Supply Chain leader for assigned program supply chain activities, and advise the Supply Chain Management team and the Program Management Office leadership team on material strategies and plans

– Support other Material Program Managers, Acquisition professionals, Logistics and Property Management personnel.

– Perform Supply Chain Front End of the Business (FEOTB) activities including proposals and pursuits, developing task descriptions and basis of estimates that help achieve price to win (PTW) targets

– Develop and implement material program plans (MPP)

– Establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs

– Demonstrate make/buy/where source selection process

– Provide support for New Business Reviews (NBR) including Gates 0-11

– Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program targets and/or based on Earned Value Management (EVMS)

– Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs

– Partner cross functionally with Engineering, Finance, Quality and Operations to create common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and/or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

– Implement and monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues

– Fulfill the role of Supply Chain Control Account Managers (CAM) and/or support assigned CAM(s) for assigned programs

– Job duties must be performed in compliance with Public Law (FAR/DFAR), Raytheon Technologies company business policies and procedures, as well as Raytheon Intelligence and Space command media

Required Skills:

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Experience in Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Cross functional teams
Thorough written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
Experience working with suppliers on development efforts
Demonstrated performance against financial budgets and forecasts
Experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project)
Experienced leader communicating and presenting to all levels of Management and senior leadership
Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs

Desired Skills:

Work experience in Supply Chain within the Aerospace Defense industry
Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations
Experience achieving goals in a matrix environment
Experience in proposal and new business capture
EVMS, Earned Value certification or equivalent
Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts
Active Secret / Top Secret Security Clearance

Required Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Supply Chain or related field and minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Program/Project Management, or related work experience or 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree in Supply Chain or related field.

Pay Structure:

In compliance with California’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,600.00 to $156,400.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 103,000 USD – 215,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
