Pay Structure:
In compliance with California’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $79,050.00 to $106,950.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Qualifications:
Typically requires Bachelor s degree in STEM and 2 (two) years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 (six) years of relevant experience is required. Two (2) or more years of experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation. Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment area.
Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware. Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings. Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts related to electrical instrumentation. Exposure to the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation.
Previous work experience with material procurement and interfacing directly with suppliers in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Experience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications
U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to acquire a US security clearance later if deemed necessary.
Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Engineer will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application.
Utilize Manufacturing Management System (SAP PRISM) to generate work orders, build/maintain bill of materials, generate material requisitions and create and maintain material/work orders, and status to internal customers as required.
Actively contribute to the design, acquisition and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures. Contribute to the design of final assemblies and conduct inspection of completed test systems. Participate in engineering design reviews. Analyzes and modifies product designs in collaboration with Design Engineering to assure manufacturability.
Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and overseeing delivery of final products to internal/external customers. Determines other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior.
