Position Role Type:

This position will report to the MCP Site Manager. This position will be responsible for day-to-day facilitation of work requirements w/in the warehouse & directly responsible for management of the flow & distribution of materials to meet all program support requirements. This position will supervise a staff of direct reports to ensure that program material is received, processed, stored, inventoried, packaged & shipped to the field, both in the Continental United States & Internationally in compliance w/all facility processes & procedures & to meet all programmatic requirements. This position requires the supervisor to be(or obtain) Hazmat certified & be responsible for signing Hazmat documents. The Supervisor will lead & develop their team to include training, motivating, mentoring, & coaching. You will be responsible for engaging your team during a shift to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, & engagement. To achieve this, managers are expected to provide their associates w/the tools needed for success as well as keenly drive productivity & efficiency through data-driven decisions & analytical problem-solving.
Duties & responsibilities:
Manage & responsible for all warehouse inbound/outbound operations; leading & developing a team of associates.
Supporting all safety programs & OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates, safety participant on the Safety Coordinator Team
Developing performance goals & objectives to achieve customer promise expectations & ensure accuracy & quality
Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans & reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, & customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
Communicating policies to associates & act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance & consistency & taking corrective action when needed
Creating, managing, & supporting recognition & communication programs
Working w/operations management team to ensure that all warehouse support personnel are properly trained, are knowledgeable of & comply w/all facility AS9100 processes & work instructions
Working w/program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to satisfy daily program requirements, expedite movements of parts, analyze inventory through aging reports, reconcile material use through work order processing & supports residual inventory disposition process
Work w/property control to maintain a Government Property Control System
Analyze the proper distribution of program assets across multiple storage facilities
Ensuring general packaging stock supply levels are maintained
Work closely w/warehouse supervision to balance internal warehouse personnel to support departmental ebbs & flows
Applies practical knowledge of interpreting requirements, specifications, directives, regulations & other related technical, contractual, or management documents pertinent to logistics
Required Skills:
2+ years prior relevant experience related to Logistics & Warehousing Operations
You take ownership in your work & team & are available to work overtime as needed year-round
Must have Strong verbal & written communications skills w/the ability to create a team environment
Must be extremely organized & have the ability to prioritize & respond to sudden changes in priorities
Must be a US Citizen w/the ability to obtain a US Security clearance w/in 6 months of hire

Education:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
