The Raytheon Technologies (RTX) team is seeking Cleared Infrastructure Product Owner. The product owner will be responsible for translating customer and stakeholder needs into cloud infrastructure solutions for several complex cloud compute environments that form the backbone of a critical, strategic national asset. The ideal candidate will have hands on infrastructure engineering experience that they will draw upon to ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. They must have a teamwork-focused mindset and be comfortable with delegation, conflict resolution, and working cross-functional teammates.
Responsibilities Include:
Leverage company and industry best practices to assist with development, deployment, implementation, and modernization of a mission infrastructure solution
Responsible to the team Product Manager for infrastructure capability requested by the solution architects
Decomposition of infrastructure capability into user stories
Ensure integration of the required platform capability into the CI/CD pipeline
Ensure developed solutions are cyber compliant
Critically evaluate product issues and updates to come up with rational solutions
Communicate any risks or issues involving system performance, availability, or security
Plan for future improvements and fixes while ensuring that any changes follow the project’s change management processes.
Specialized skills required for this role:
In-depth knowledge of Agile Development Methodology
Working knowledge of infrastructure development
Ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to work with large teams
Clearance requirements: An active and in-scope TS/SCI US security clearance
Required Skills:
Experienced Leader able to lead a diverse team of Engineers and Systems Administrators
Experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps environment
Experience with Cloud based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) -Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) a plus
Ability to work with peer leaders on priorities and sharing resources
Strong communicator able to provide clear and succinct directions
Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as: Ansible, Chef, and/or Terraform
Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence.
Desired Skills:
Agile Product Owner Certification (Must be able to attain certification within 120 days)
Security Plus Certification
Linux Systems Administration experience
Experience with Containerization
Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Jenkins
Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket
General working knowledge of networks and storage
Education requirements:
Typically Requires a Bachelor’s BS/BA degree; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) is preferred with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience is desired.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
