We are looking for an Information Technology Business Analyst to join our winning team!
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Workplace Services, the Information Technology Business Analyst, will be required to work with the organization to develop, maintain and support business applications through understanding business processes and their implications and applying process improvement concepts for process redesign. They must also identify the strategic objectives of the company and translate these objectives into achievable tasks for the organization’s information technology department.
We are looking for the following Technical Requirements:
Skilled in Program Management
Ability to design, develop, integrate, test and implement information systems business solutions
Experienced in new technology evaluation and adoption
Experienced in Application software configuration and administration (Infor LN/Baan experience an asset)
Understanding of systems integrations for applications
Understanding of Microsoft SQL development
Understanding of SharePoint development and administration
Understanding of Power BI
Understanding of change management and revision control
We are looking for the following Education and Key Competencies:
Degree or Diploma in computer science discipline
Five years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent time management and technical data management skills
Exercises sound judgement in new situations in the absence of specific guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to document processes, training materials, and work instructions
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Strong listening, summarizing, facilitating and “Bridge Building” skills
Ability to translate user problems, issues and needs into technical solutions
Acquires and retains knowledge through study, instruction, or experience
