Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to serve a key role in a Technical Operations Lab. The candidate will implement secure solutions for multiple unclassified and classified systems and manage information assurance requirements for both internet-connected and standalone systems within environments of varying complexity levels. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining certification and accreditation documentation, and ensuring system security measures comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. NISPOM, JAFAN, DCID/ICD 503, DoD RMF etc.).

Required:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience with the following tasks (entry level candidates will be considered based upon educational background):
Prepare materials addressing security technical issues (e.g. System Security Plans (SSPs), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) etc.)
Conduct vulnerability assessment and compliance auditing including running scans and performing manual audits using vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7 Nexpose, Tenable Nessus, Open Vulnerability Assessment System (OpenVAS), and Core Impact.
Plan and implement vulnerability remediation and mitigation including applying security updates, custom GPO’s and creating/running scripts.
Patch Management, Anti-Virus, OS Upgrades, computer security and system monitoring and logging.

Desired:

Experience in the following disciplines:

Developing, analyzing and documenting hardware/software design and architecture.
Windows and UNIX including system installation, configuration, and administration.
Intermediate scripting, or software engineering background (e.g. Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Perl, or Java).
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II; CISSP preferred.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with poly and be crossover eligible.
