As a Contracts Manager, you’re responsible for a full range of contract management/administration actions in support of the Radar Sensor Systems Product Area, within the Surveillance and Network Systems in the Raytheon Intelligence & Space business. In this highly visible role, you’ll provide significant Contracts guidance and support to the business and programs relative to proprietary strategic and non-strategic pursuits, supporting all phases of the Acquisition Lifecycle from Development to Sustainment.
What You Will Do:
Foster close interaction with external customers and internal program management office; participate in external customer reviews
Focus on responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills
Lead proposal submittal and contract negotiations to achieve business objectives while ensuring customer needs are met, within company policies and guidelines
Provide guidance on contractual rights and obligations, with means to mitigate contractual program risk to management
Proactively engage with the program/pursuit teams and customers to ensure that the programs are executing to contract requirements
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in contracts
Must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance and be a United States born citizen as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Aerospace and Defense industry experience; working experience with DoD Contracts “common body-of-knowledge”
Excellent interpersonal & communications (written and oral) skills
Ability to work effectively in an Integrated Product Team matrix organization
Must be able to work with minimal supervision at times and within a fast-paced multitask environment
Capable of multi-tasking and handling several assignments with different internal and external customers concurrently
Ability to always understand and ensure full compliance with applicable Company policy and guidelines and apply legal aspects of government acquisition to the contract management function
Requires advanced to expert knowledge of Contracts Management typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
Employment is also contingent upon the candidates’ ability to be granted Program access by the customer.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency and experience working sole source and competitive acquisitions.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Finance or related field and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or; an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years experience.

Work Location:
Dallas, TX – (Hybrid possible after 12 months onsite)
