HYBRID WORKING ROLE. UK.
A fantastic opportunity to lead Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) on projects delivering well established products and services.
You will get the opportunity to develop breadth and depth in configuration management, change management data management and knowledge management.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, building relationships with colleagues in the project team, customers, and peers in other projects.
We are looking for an additional Configuration and Data Lead, who will work closely with a small CM team, to ensure effective delivery of the current CM/DM service, and enable us to provide a more broad CM and DM service to our projects.
Key Duties
Leading delivery of Configuration Management for a project
Supporting Change Management for the products
Supporting Release and Deployment Management for products and documents
Administering the CM tools, so project team have the right access and permissions
Helping the team find the information and data they need about products and changes
Opportunities to
Get involved with planning and estimating CM work
Get involved with process improvement
Get involved with training and mentoring
Knowledge and Experience
Experience providing configuration, change or release and deployment management on a project is required
Familiarity with Defence Hardware, Software or Services development projects is advantageous
CM2 or equivalent qualification is desirable, or willingness to undertake CM2 training if you are not currently qualified.
You will need to be willing and able to obtain British MOD Security Clearance to SC level.
