Job Title: Business Development Executive (Cyber)

Job Description:
Opportunity for a business development professional with knowledge of winning cyber or software engineering services to work in our extremely successful National Security Cyber (NSC) team who have consistently exceeded targets.

This exciting, forward leaning role will involve identifying and leading opportunities, finding and engaging with potential new customers, shaping and leading bids.
The successful candidate must have a willingness to be proactive in prospecting for new customers and frameworks. As part of an established team, they will be expected to work well with others, utilising all the resources available and adapt quickly to changing customer needs, working across multiple opportunities as required.
The successful candidate will:
Responsibilities:
Identify, target, and win new NSC customers in Central Government and Defence
Develop and refine win strategies and discriminators
Perform competitive assessments, identify discriminators, and propose counters to competitor strengths
Develop plans to win new opportunities
Advise on teaming and partnering strategies
Identify key industry events, forums, or with influencer groups and represent Raytheon Technologies
Engage with new customers to understand their drivers and requirements
Create and sustain a valid pipeline of opportunities to meet the 5 year plan
Proactively lead and support winning bids
Provide accurate information to support NSC forecasting
Identify efficiencies in bidding activities including use of lessons learned

Candidate Requirements
Articulate, analytical and poses a forward leaning attitude
Demonstrate the capability for thought leadership to identify emerging customer requirements and opportunities
Exhibit credibility when presenting to customers and at events
Ability to work with Engineering, Programme Management, Commercial, and Finance functions to identify and shape innovative technical and commercial solutions
Commercially astute and able to shape profitable, sustainable business
Experience within Cyber or Software Engineering marketplace would be an advantage
Willing and eligible to be put forward for government security clearance
