We are looking for two Business Application Programmers to join our winning team!
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Workplace Services, the Business Application Programmer will be required to work with the organization to develop, code, test, debug, and maintain new and existing business applications.
We are looking for the following Technical Requirements:
Experienced in Application software configuration and administration (Infor LN/Baan experience an asset)
Develops and maintains Data Warehousing
Develops reports using Business Intelligence tools
Understanding of systems integrations for applications
Experienced in Microsoft SQL development
Experienced in SharePoint development and administration
Experienced in Power BI
Knowledge of Python, Perl, and Powershell an asset
Understanding of change management and revision control
We are looking for the following Education and Key Competencies:
Degree or diploma in computer science discipline
Two years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent time management and technical data management skills
Exercises sound judgement in new situations in the absence of specific guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to document processes, training materials, and work instructions
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Strong listening, summarizing, facilitating and “Bridge Building” skills
Ability to translate user problems, issues and needs into technical solutions
Acquires and retains knowledge through study, instruction, or experience
