Raytheon Advanced Products and Solutions is seeking a candidate with an excellent background and experience in both engineering development and production support to function as a product-line asset manager. Candidate will enjoy using their strong analytical skills, as well as hands-on experience in relocating and tracking engineering and production hardware and materials across labs/sites. Candidate will employ their written and oral communication skills, while working to prepare lab users for internal and external compliance audits. Candidate must be comfortable in a high energy complex environment, and possess an excellent working knowledge of hardware moves, laboratory requirements and process optimization strategies. This position will be onsite in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities to anticipate:
Track movement and processing of programs hardware/materials being investigated/tested.
Manage hardware/equipment lists for RFNIU/Contracts/Loans.
Create Prism shipping delivery travelers for all products and materials.
Retrieve drawings from cPDM.
Coordinate with Information Assurance groups for the entry/exit of products for the SAP areas.
Support and provide escorting duties for SAP level hardware, including movement/repairs.
Knowledge transfer and mentor less experienced personnel to stand up an RSIL, including STE setup, calibrating, repairing, relocating, and maintenance of test equipment.
Provide expertise on creating and maintaining a safe, optimized laboratory work environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Familiarity and good understanding of radar products and engineering & operations labs.
Willingness to lead projects, train associates and collaborate
Experience in relocating engineering and production hardware
Assist functional organization in making informed decisions regarding supportability practices, analytical results, testing methodologies, and strategies.
Awareness of metrology, operational procedures, processes, and related safety protocols.
Microsoft Office, CMS, RAYTRAK, UPS, ARAMIS, cPDM
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
IMRO, VM, PRISM, AS9100 audits, lean manufacturing
Highly visibility within the customer base, partnering with IPTLs, team leads and Lab Managers to satisfy customer requirements
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The salary range for this role is $39.42 to $62.48; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
