Job Summary:
Raytheon is looking for an individual to join the Cybersecurity Engineering team for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer position supporting Continuous Monitoring and maintenance of Authority to Operate on Government customer accredited assets at Raytheon.
The ideal candidate will have a cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and enterprise information security infrastructure.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
Cyber security engineering in support of system development
Plan of action and milestones (POAM) work off
Assessment and Authorization Support (A&A)
Vulnerability and compliance scanning and mitigation
Software Assurance
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of engineering experience
Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37, NIST Special Publication 800-53 and NIST Special Publication 800-171
An active and transferable DoD Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required on Day 1 of employment. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II (Security+ or equivalent) Compliant Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
An advanced degree in STEM with 3+ years of engineering experience
Understanding of DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes, assessing and validating compliance with IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
