The B-52 Bomber powered by the TF33 engine provides the USAF with an extremely important mission.  Over the years, the mission readiness for this weapon system has degraded and the USG is working closely with P&W to recover the sustainment of the TF33 fleet.   As a result, the TF33 program team has brought on new contracts requiring the program to grow by 3X.

The TF33 Materials Analyst is responsible for the management of proposals, orders, and multiple customer agreements supporting TF33 Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer.

You will be the primary interface with DLA customer. The key function in this role is to support aftermarket spare part sales through various SAP transactions and reporting. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for, successful material alignment, material sourcing, material expedite, and DPAS compliant shipment
High level understanding of customers’ critical pacing material, Pratt & Whitney supplier capacity constraints
Communication and monitoring of material to Pratt & Whitney Supply Chain
Continuous schedule alignment of supply and demand
Generation and justification of part forecast to support projected fleets maintenance activities.
Reporting element that includes, a suite of Business Units reports, both routine and ad-hoc
Drive continuous improvement across the materials organization utilizing the ACE tools
This position requires strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
Travel is less than 10%

Basic Qualifications:

BS or BA in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering field required
A minimum of 2+ years of Business Supply Chain or Customer service required.
US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous SAP and customer service experience desired.
Previous experience with DLA Aviation and/or USAF customer preferred.
Individual must utilize strong organizational, teaming, interpersonal and communications skills
