Responsibilities
Lead the industrial activities for CSMC as subject matter expert for OEE, OLE, MSW, Staffing/Capacity Planning and Lean Manufacturing.
Design and build models to guide transformation processes in shopfloor, measure input, output and KPIs.
Acts as a subject matter expert establishing the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
Apply lean principles and methods to develop standardized model and data frameworks to support SPS deployment across the site.
Establish standard work and deliverables, including short- and long-term objectives for technology strategic focus.
Train new or existing employees in data management and model development best practices.
Work collaboratively with all levels of management, personnel, and customers, and have key skills in project management, general business, model/database building, and operational analytics.
Generate, publish, and present reports to production leadership
Support a safety-first work culture that exceeds safety performance goals and strives towards zero injuries.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures including individual employee awareness of responsibility and accountability.
Demonstrate awareness of the businesses competitive position in relation to the representative marketplace, including macro factors and trends which influence overall business operations and execution.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or in a similar field.
At least 7 years of working experience with advanced knowledge of aerospace, automotive, or industrial business.
Understanding of mixed model production environment
Solid knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean manufacturing fundamentals, data analysis tools with ability to apply this knowledge to manufacturing and business processes
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing a plus.
Demonstrated success in program management, engineering, communications.
Project management experience and driving change management.
Strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Must be US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience as Industrial Engineer.
BS Industrial Engineering
Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
A working-knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Operating Procedures, Root-Cause Analysis and Set-Up Reduction/Mistake-Proofing is preferred.
Skills in automating KPIs with use of software integrated to MRP system.
Power BI programmer/user.
