Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for development, validation and implementation of inspection applications including eddy current, ultrasonic, thermal, visual (BSI) and other advanced inspection concepts. 

Applications will include production and aftermarket requirements with heavy focus on onwing implementation tasks. 

Project management including coordination of fabrication of sensors and tooling at qualified suppliers. Building effective relationships with highly skilled technicians and internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physics

7+ years of experience as an engineer working in a laboratory, research or with manufacturing processes or overhaul and repair of aerospace products OR an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience

US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

NDE, measurement/instrumentation, design and report writing

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well in production & overhaul environments needed.

Interest in innovative mechanical / electrical devices

Position involves work with ITAR hardware.
