Summary:
The military engines production team has several openings for industrial managers that will lead key aspects of our next generation fighter engine program.
Program Industrial Managers serve as the interface between the program integrated product management team (IPMT) and the Pratt & Whitney operations organization with respect to industrial planning and execution of the next gen fighter engine program. IPMT member organizations include engineering, quality, program management, and finance as well as other operations organizations including mod centers, supply chain, operations excellence, and SIOP.
You will be responsible for supporting communications, cross-functional alignment, industrial risk identification, and risk mitigation efforts for part and module schedule deliveries.
You will play a key role in the achievement of program milestones through alignment of engineering, operations, and supply chain organizational plans and initiatives to program priorities and commitments.

Responsibilities:
Lead weekly industrial war rooms with engineering Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs), supply chain and manufacturing engineering
Own the program industrial plan
Manage the industrial tracker and create line of balance for all hardware
Analyze, identify, and escalate industrial risks to hardware delivery as well as define and execute mitigation plans
Generate weekly top 30 hardware status reports and present to executive leadership
Review BOMs and build schedules to ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery
Facilitate material allocation decisions for program critical hardware
Collaboration with product cost team to manage part cost
Collaboration with strategic sourcing
Lead continuous improvement activities to improve key processes and ensure customer on-time delivery
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business or equivalent experience and 10+ years prior relevant experience, OR Master’s Degree in a related field and 7+ years prior relevant experience
Up to 10% travel
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Operations experience in supply chain, materials management, or shop floor management is preferred.
Technical experience in engineering or program management is preferred
Proficiency with SAP transactions/analysis, Primavera, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Comfortable with liaising with senior level executives
Have excellent project management skills
Ability to effectively lead under pressure and tight timelines
Ability to pivot in a changing business environment
Basic understanding of business management
Know how to leverage data to clearly articulate problems and proposed solutions
Ability to influence & lead without authority
