The F135 Sustainment Program provides logistic products and services to the worldwide F135 propulsion fleet including Support Equipment, Joint Technical Data, Repair Development, Engineering Technical Services, Training Services, Fleet Operations, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance Services, Site/Depot Activation, and Fleet Management Services.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for leading a team to assist the Sustainment Program Managers customer engagement logistics and contract deliverables.
Execute daily program management and cadence (battle rhythm) such as risk review boards, Earned Value management, customer reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), to achieve contract commitments.
Coordinate with IPT team to meet required program documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures.
Directly support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
In the absence of the program manager, is responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), and administrative functions.
Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
Identify and implement key program metrics. Work with the Program Management Office, Integrated Product Teams, and Functional leads to implement and drive closure of corrective actions as warranted.
Capture and track program action items and work with action owners to ensure timely and satisfactory closure of actions.
Coordinate customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits.
Develop sales forecasts and monitor progress for F135 Sustainment Program in support of the OMM process
Develop, track execution, monitor expirations and liquidation of Management Authorized Materials (MAMs)
This position requires close coordination with key IPMT members including the Program Management Office (PMO), Program Finance Services, Earned Value Management Services, and the customer in order successfully execute the contract requirements and maintain communication across the program management team.

Basic Qualifications:

BS Business, Engineering, Program Management required.
A minimum of  8+ years of Program Management, Engineering and/or Government Contracting experience required; or
Advanced degree & 5-years of same experience
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated budget management / Earned Value (EVMS) experience.
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Program Management experience
Primavera or Project scheduling experience
Ability to communicate effectively with customers internally and externally.
High attention to detail
