This is an exciting opportunity to join the Military Engines Sustainment Operations organization, which provides technical and logistic products and services to the worldwide propulsion fleet across the globe.

The Global Site Activation (GSA) team is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Digital Systems and Applications Project Specialist for activations and sustainment of new F135 maintenance and production centers.   This includes initial and full capabilities for all U.S. and international Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Update (MRO&U) depots, as well as Final Assembly & Check Out (FACO) centers, Multi-use Warehouses (MUW), and engine test cell facilities. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of organizations and acquire broad experience in both digital technologies and MRO&U project management while contributing to critical capability for the War Fighter. This is a remote working position supporting P&W Military Engines Sustainment Operations at the P&W East Hartford, Connecticut.

Travel Requirements:  20%, including international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supporting multiple teams as a subject matter expert for all digital technologies systems, infrastructure, and applications
Systems and Infrastructure includes computers, monitors, processors, servers, front ends, networks, control units, storage units, printers, cabling, firewalls, etc
Applications include but are not limited to SAP, Solumina, CITRIX, O365, SharePoint, SafeNet, and IETP
You will collaborate with F135 MRO&U site activations teams to plan and execute infrastructure systems and application deployment with the respective Product Support Provider (PSP) and be accountable for standard work and training
You will be accountable for acting as a primary liaison for the DT sustainment of previously activated MRO&U sites in the network and assist in the deployment of new capabilities and/or problem resolution
Responsibilities will include maintaining project schedules and action item tracking, developing risk assessments with mitigation plans, supporting USG contract funding, WAVE, and waterline management
Develop metrics to monitor the deployment of application solutions products in your project portfolio and ensure status is communicated regularly to key stakeholders and leadership
You will be required to effectively collaborate with Sustainment Operations, Business Systems and Transformation, Digital and Site Security, Finance, and ITC

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and/or Computer Science required
5+ years of related experience with 3 or more years of direct experience in digital technologies deployment and/or development
Ability to obtain a security clearance for compliance to US DoD security regulations is required
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in IT Project management and executing a combination of various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including Agile development and Waterfall
Proficiency in SAP ECC/GTS suite of applications, with experience in Finance, Material Management, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management modules
Proficiency in MS Office / O365 applications
Familiarity with Solumina, Sharepoint and ability to quickly become adept in computer applications
Familiarity in Servers and Network architecture, including Infrastructure setup and deployment
Ability to understand business requirements, communicate technical information to non-SMEs, create data for unit testing/User Acceptance Testing, and coordinate testing as needed
Direct experience with a gas turbine production and/or maintenance facility and/or supporting its activation
Ability to support a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex results-based environment
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational / time management skills, and self-initiative; and demonstrated ability to lead others, deliver timely results and effectively interface at all organizational levels
A working knowledge of Lean operating system(s) and continuous improvement tools (e.g., CORE, ACE, Six Sigma)

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD – 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
