Department Overview
The Military Customer Support and Services group has openings for an Internship as a Customer Support Engineer (CSE). The primary function of this position is to perform as an onsite engineering liaison representing Pratt & Whitney in front of our military customers. The CSE Intern will support the overhaul and repair process across the Pratt & Whitney’s family of Military Engines at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City. This position is a key role in the global sustainment effort as it provides a direct engineering link with our domestic and foreign military customers. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Work as the onsite Engineering representative of P&W supporting engine/hardware technical data reviews and interpretation.
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous process improvement.
Aid U.S. Government personnel with depot support, quality issues and logistics planning.
Participate in the Analytical Condition Inspection (ACI) and tasked with data collection, create trend analysis, and reports
Work in a customer-facing role.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Aerospace engineering or related curriculum.
2 years of course work completed towards degree. Junior level/ rising senior
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
Fluent in English (verbal/written)
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
Basic skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Possess strong communication, presentation, leadership, and organizational skills

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
