Job Description:
The Hot Section Engineering (HSE) Exhaust Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) is seeking an energetic and results focused Deputy to lead/manage the exhaust nozzle module. Primary responsibility would be tactical day-to-day management of 30+ person team. Position could be located in either East Hartford or West Palm Beach. This is a challenging assignment that requires a high degree of dedication and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary CIPT– System Integrated Product Team (SIPT) focal
Preparing and presenting monthly program review to Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT)
Provide guidance to Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders to ensure work and resources are being applied effectively
Earned Value Management Process (EVMS) and IMS reporting
Ensure strong communication and alignment with both internal and external customers
Any other pertinent CIPT tasks as required
Basic Qualifications:
BS in Engineering
12+ years in engineering experience or an advanced degree with 10+ years experience
Able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
US Citizen due to government contract
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, MBA preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to organize and execute complex tasks.
10+ year’s project, design, structures, or aero-thermal experience or equivalent in gas turbines.
5+ years of prior team leadership and experience in program planning/budgeting/tracking
3+ years of experience/knowledge of SAP, the CCB process, EVMS, and Primavera needed.
