Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection, repair and final assembly of tube head assembles.
Work from drawings, procedures and instructions or repair and assemble units where an understanding of the unit’s function in the powder making process is essential, and considerable care is required to make sure unit operates at optimum effectiveness during “blow”. Replace or perform minor rework on damaged parts, reassemble unit and check dimensions and operation to make sure unit will perform properly.
Maintain records of number and location of units. Keep an adequate supply of spare parts necessary for continuous operation in all departments. Occasionally required to keep records on performance of individual units and work with supervision to determine why some units work better than others.
From time to time perform other duties not associated with head repair that are required to maintain overall shop appearance and work flow, i.e., mopping floors.
May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform ACE duties as required
Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
US Citizen due to government contracts
Ability to work overtime when required
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently
Physically capable of: bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long period of time – up to 8 hrs, and climbing stairs
Preferred Qualifications:
Good attendance record
Strong communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
