We are searching for an accounting/finance manager to join and support our Manufacturing Accounting Group with a focus on labor accounting, distribution, reporting and other inventory cost projects reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing Accounting.  In this role, you will be responsible for addressing all aspects of PW labor related time and attendance matters and liaison directly with the RTX’s Time & Attendance Team for resolution.  You will be also responsible for reviewing and help resolve accounting outstanding matters related to labor recording and distribution.  This position will also assist on managing and reviewing internal and external audit requirements.  In addition, this position will assist in driving several digital technologies and streamlining projects on the ongoing improvements of this department.

You will also be exposed and help execute other aspects of manufacturing accounting and closing responsibilities.  You will work directly with local accounting teams for all manufacturing sites, HR representatives, Pratt & Whitney Corporate Digital Technologies Group and various groups at RTX corporate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the review of Labor Accounting, Distribution and Reporting processes

Responsible for the review of Accounting Closing of Assessments and Accounts True Ups

Responsible for troubleshooting and assist reviewing labor exceptions for all USA Domestic Sites and International Sites

Responsible to lead and drive several ongoing digital technologies improvement projects related to Time & Attendance, Labor Recording, Total Time Accounting, and other cost accounting projects

Assist on other Manufacturing Accounting closing and inventory responsibilities such as supporting the ZPD team by reviewing and resolving exceptions, account reconciliations and journal entries

Support periodic audits performed by external auditors, RTX internal audit, P&W business controls and U.S. government audits;

Assist in special projects and process improvement initiatives related to inventory and cost accounting

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years’ of relevant experience or 5 years’ of experience with a master’s degree
