Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) is seeking a goal oriented, detail-focused Deputy Technology Program Manager to work for the key, innovative technology programs. In this role you will be responsible for task execution on Commercial Technology initiatives for Aftermarket Operations (AMO) sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing budget, schedule, & technical performance of the AMO funded technology tasks.
Program integration, coordination, & direct engagement with the program team & functional partners, in pursuit of day-to-day program execution; advocating Program Management plans, processes, and business objectives; and the implementation of PM best practices.
Communicates program status and forecasts with the stakeholders. 
Provide leadership, direction, and execution management of the program to include working directly with functional leaders within the matrixed organization to ensure the programs are properly staffed with personnel that have the right skill sets as well as behaviors, setting priorities, resolving conflicts & barriers. 
Leads Risk & Opportunity Management effort. 
Responsible for managing sole-source and competitive proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP)
Coordinate and lead Integrated Product Team(s) to meet task and technical requirements.
Create schedules and lead Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) progressions and review plans.
Lead cost reduction and sustainment initiatives.
Mentor less experienced team members
10% travel.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in a technical field
10+ years experience in engineering, program management, customer service, aftermarket, or operations OR 7 years of same experience with an Advanced degree.
3+ years of experience as a team leader and coach with experience in a multi-discipline team environment;
US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including a matrixed environment
Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management
Ability to influence and motivate team members and peers
Ability to partner in matrixed organizations to ensure successful program execution
Ability to move between strategic and tactical issues quickly
Proven demonstration of leadership competencies including influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Project management skills
