Military Engines Transformation Office is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and proactive leader to sustain the Customer Focused Results & Excellence (CORE) lean Operating System (OS), as well as support strategic goal alignment and transformation efforts across the Military Engines value stream.

The Military Engines Senior CORE Manager will be working directly with senior leadership, numerous program offices, value stream partners and support teams to ensure the CORE Operating System is used to deliver results by improving business metrics and delivering to customer expectations. The Senior CORE Manager will ensure that PW CORE systems and processes are in place, best practices are implemented, CORE culture is robust, and accountabilities are established to improve overall operational effectiveness. This person will be responsible for the adherence to Worldwide procedures, managing the Military Engines CORE Council and be a contributing member of the P&W CORE focal community.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead a team of CORE managers
Guide leaders in understanding and usage of quality and continuous improvement methodologies
Coach and train team members, business leaders and employees on practical application of CORE principles
Effectively communicate implementation progress within and across all ME teams and locations
Through the rigorous use of change management disciplines, drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the business and across the value stream
Plan, facilitate and lead VSM/Kaizen/CI events and transformation projects
Liaise with the PW CORE Office
Assist the ME organization in aligning and executing on annual improvement targets
Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate existing business processes and ensure linkage to the company’s goals and improvement targets
Drive changes in behaviors by effectively influencing without authority
Promote best proactive sharing for continuous improvement across all locations and departments, ensure benchmarking of best practices

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Project Management experience
Certification in a recognized continuous improvement discipline, or 10+ years of Continuous Improvement experience required
PMP, Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Primary location – OKC. Other locations will be considered for right candidate.
Prior supervisory experience
CORE Professional or Expert certification
Knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience leading the development of Lean practitioners
