Peraton is seeking an experienced Information Operations (IO) Planner to conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (COCOM) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. This position is located at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida. The scope and objectives of the Operational Planning, Implementation, and Assessment Services (OPIAS) Task Order is to provide our technical expertise supporting U.S. Government partners/clients; Combatant Commands and Interagency partners, Federal Departments and Agencies, the Defense Industrial Base, and allied and coalition partners with enhanced Information Operations (IO) and Irregular Warfare (IW) operations and to integrate Information Related Capabilities (IRC) operations across relevant domains, environments, echelons, and geographic boundaries. These services are necessary to mitigate existing and potential threats to U.S. national security interests inclusive of narcotics and human trafficking, weapons proliferation, freedom of navigation, counter-piracy, pandemics, and humanitarian crisis. At its core, information operations (IO) are the integration of information-related capabilities during military operations to influence, disrupt, corrupt, or usurp the decision making of adversaries and potential adversaries while protecting our own The IO Planner is expected to provide Expert mission analysis Analytic problem solving Assessment of information operations (IO) Creative use of information systems and information related capabilities (IRC) Integration with inter-agency and intelligence community (IC) Knowledge of and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Cyber and Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Significant or key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning, security, accreditation, risk assessment(s). The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO-related directives in support of maneuver elements. IO subject matter experts (SME) will provide counsel, guidance, and aid in applying technical skills to operational and tactical planning/execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance (MOP) thru attainment of measures of effectiveness (MOE).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 8 – 10 years of planning experience ORa combined total of a minimum of 12 years between education and relevant service. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements: Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, and COG analysis process as well as a general understanding of Joint Training doctrine and procedures. Knowledge in JOPP, MDMP, and MCPP planning and targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level IO plans and orders. SOF planning processes; Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, Intelligence cycle, and COG analysis Have a minimum of 4 years of experience with IO planning at the service or joint level, working that support operations with Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces. Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in: Military Information Support Operations (MISO) / (formerly Psychological Operations (PSYOP)) Military Deception (MILDEC) Operations Security (OPSEC) Tactical Electronic Warfare (EW) Cyberspace Operations SIGINT related activities Ability to engage senior JIIM leaders and staff,and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience. Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities. Requires an Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Target Salary Range
$112,000 – $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
