What you’ll do:The All-Source Military Intel Analyst will identify, gather, and assess all-source information to determine the disposition, location, and other information for conventional and strategic military forces. The All-Source Military Intel Analyst will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Conducting all-source intelligence analysis with a focus on conventional and strategic military forcesMaintaining conventional and strategic military force data in a web-based applicationPresenting data and analysis using a variety of tools and formatsResponding to customer requests and questionsAnticipating customer needs and identifying creative ways to meet themOur team works a standard 40-hour work week from Monday through Friday. Arrival and departure times vary, but we strive to find a schedule that works for both the employee and the customer. Remote work is not permitted. Travel is possible but very rarely required and would primarily occur in the local Washington D.C. area.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with PolyEducation: Bachelor’s degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, or other social science related discipline. An additional five years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience: Five to ten years of relevant work experience.Experience conducting military-related research and analysis with country-and regional-specific conventional and strategic military forces, to include searching classified and unclassified sources.Experience or expertise in relevant country of focus.Advanced knowledge of order of battle (OB) methodologies.Skills:Ability to construct and maintain an OB on conventional and strategic military forces.Ability to conduct analysis of military forces and operations.Ability to update and manipulate data using Microsoft Office products (especially MS Excel). Ability to use formats such as maps, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, etc. to present results of analysis.Familiarity with information management systems and search tools used by the Intelligence Community. Proficient in working with and updating a web-based application.Desired qualifications: ExperienceExperience working with order of battle systems.Experience working with arms control information sources.SkillsKnowledge of country-specific military terminology.Ability to use Intelligence Community gazetteers and tools to identify relevant locational data.Ability to exploit metadata for all-source military analysis.Reading proficiency (level 3) in a foreign language associated with country of focus.#LI-BS1Benefits:At Peraton, our benefits are designed to help keep you at your best beyond the work you do with us daily. Target Salary Range
$86,000 – $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
