Responsibilities
Position Requires Candidate to be located in the Colorado Springs, CO area. NO remote telecommuting allowed, however, occasional telework is allowed. In office rotation is required about 4x per month (2 days per pay period). Peraton is seeking a Software Developer (MQ SME) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will join our team supporting a large scale national security credentialing system in a complex, dynamic environment. The Software Developer (MQ SME) will be responsible for Internal Service Bus and Enterprise Service Bus application development, web services, implementing MQ best practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps, and Test automation. The candidate should have hands-on working knowledge of MQ, SQL Server, and GitLab/Mattermost. The Software Developer shall possess experience with engaging diverse stakeholder groups, and collaborating with system users to coordinate and document Interface Control Documents.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:US Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain /maintain a Secret security clearance.Bachelor’s degree and 10-12 years experience or Masters degree and 8-10 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.10+ years of experience on complex technical projects, including work on highly available, national security systems.Subject matter expertise in the following areas:Internal Service Bus and Enterprise Service Bus application developmentWeb ServicesMQ best practicesHands-on, working knowledge of the following products:SQL ServerEnterprise MQ Administration, preferably IBM MQ Preferred Qualifications:Case management workflow.Data analysis.Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting.At Peraton, our benefits are designed to help keep you at your best beyond the work you do with us daily. Range for Posting
Salary Minimum: $72,500Salary Mid: $145,000Salary Maximum: $181,300The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
