What you’ll do:The All-Source Intel Analyst will identify, gather, and assess all-source information to determine the disposition, location, and other information for insurgent and violent events. The All-Source Intel Analyst will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Tracking violent incidents and associated source information in a web-based application.Presenting data and analysis using a variety of tools and formatsResponding to customer requests and questionsAnticipating customer needs and identifying creative ways to meet them Our team works a standard 40-hour work week from Monday through Friday. Arrival and departure times vary, but we strive to find a schedule that works for both the employee and the customer. Remote work is not permitted. Travel is possible but very rarely required and would primarily occur in the local Washington D.C. area.
Qualifications
Required qualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with PolyEducation: Bachelor’s degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, or other social science related discipline. An additional five years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience: Two to five years of relevant work experience, including:Experience searching classified and unclassified sources, particularly internet-based sources, for information on violent incidents and major events.Skills:Ability to use various presentation formats such as maps, charts, graphs, and other reports to display results of analysis.Ability to update and manipulate data using Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.Proficient in working with and updating data in a web-based system/application. Desired qualifications: ExperienceProven research skills on violent incidents and other local events in a country or region, and/or proven research skills on insurgent and terrorist group organization and operations. Experience working with DoD’s incident tracking systems/applications.SkillsFamiliarity with maintaining incident tracking systems/applications.Familiarity with insurgent and terrorist organizational structures and operational concepts.Familiarity with data visualization tools. Target Salary Range
$66,000 – $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
