Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for Manufacturing Scheduler 1 to fill positions located in Charlottesville, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Production Planning team, Responsible for the overall Management of hardware movement and schedule through the various manufacturing cells to meet cost and schedule objectives and meet predetermined customer requirements and deliveries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.
Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.
Determines daily production schedules based on engineering plans, production specifications, plant capacity, availability of parts, and manpower requirements.
Readjusts schedules according to production progress, change orders, or other delaying conditions.
Coordinates with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years of additional education and/or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree with 1 year related experience in Manufacturing, planning, scheduling, purchasing or manufacturing engineering.
Knowledge and usage of Systems Analysis and Program Development software (SAP / ERP, Gold repairs tracking system)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Salary Range: $34,500 USD – $57,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
