SSSD Business Management is seeking an Associate Operations Research Analyst fill one of our critical and specialized technical needs. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, CA.
Working in both classified and unclassified networks, with up to 25% telework available, the selected applicant will work in a people-focused environment interfacing with users and customers on Department of Defense (DoD) systems. This role participates in the entire software development lifecycle of web and windows-based applications using multiple high-level programming languages and technologies from concept to execution. The systems we develop enable the highest-quality decision making from a dynamic team of both technical and business management end-users.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems
Adhering to software standards and requirements
Multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities
Assist with analyzing complex problems and developing solutions
This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
BA/BS degree or 4 years of work experience to include any combination of experience in Business Management, Systems Development, Administration or Military Leadership
An active DoD TS and/or SCI Security Clearance
DAX scripting experience and familiarity with MS PowerBI
Ability to acquire a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire
SQL and/or VBA script writing experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and/or other Scheduling Program

Salary Range: $63,000 USD – $95,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
