Northrop Grumman is seeking Supply Chain interns to join the Defense Systems Sector. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama.
As an intern, you’ll participate in an internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include:
Roles and Responsibilities
Contacts vendors and transportation companies, to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are shipped and delivered on promised dates. Determines when deliveries may be delayed; coordinates with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and other users to expedite material requirements; maintains records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns of damaged items, and related matters. Exclude buyers and internal expeditors.
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2023
• Be majoring in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks of the Summer 2022
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
The pay ranges for this specific opportunity are as follows:
Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $18.50 – $24.50
Masters degrees :$29.50 – $31.50
Salary Range: $19 USD – $32 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
