Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Rolling Meadows, IL. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within engineering.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Navigation, Targeting & Survivability (NT&S) Division.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 1 are a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 2 are a Master’s Degree.
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE) or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
Familiarity, educational background or experience in:
Structured Programming (C)
Object Oriented Programming (C++, Java)
Software architecture (design patterns, objected oriented design)
Scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Batch, etc)
Operating system concepts for embedded systems
Software development methodologies or frameworks (Waterfall Methodology or Agile)
Version control (Git, Gitlabs, Github, or Bitbucket, etc)
Agile software planning tools (Jira or Rally, etc)
Salary Range: $65,000.00- $118,000.00
Salary Range: $1 USD – $1 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
