Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) Manager to lead our University Recruiting Team. This position can be 100% virtual or the candidate can work hybrid from Baltimore, MD or Fairfax, VA. Candidate required to travel up to 25% of the time to attend various events.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Partner with Executive Leadership, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner teams to drive strategic sourcing, recruiting, and hiring strategy aligned to intern and entry level talent. Oversee a team of Talent Acquisition Business Partners that will drive hiring initiatives and execution. Assess talent acquisition talent; strengthen team as necessary – with a focus on development and engagement.

Prior college recruiting experience

Confident executive presence
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting support, HR or closely related experience OR Masters with 6 years relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience recruiting entry level and intern talent, including campus engagement activities (career fairs, targeted events, student organization and faculty outreach)
Demonstrated project management skills and/or event coordination experience (intern program, rotational programs, hiring events)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
This position reports to Unknown, VA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 2 locations listed above.
Salary Range: $92,600 USD – $152,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
