This role is working as a Principal Scrum Master for the Program Data Analytics Systems (PDAS) team. PDAS is the senior data analytics team which develops functional, division, and sector level Tableau dashboards. You will assist the PDAS team in building business in identifying business areas which could use automated reports, expand on existing reports, and develop new reports. You will work with customers to assure budget is in place for the team and will also operate as a Scrum Master in managing the Agile tool for the team.

In this role, you must have knowledge and experience in analytics teams or transferable skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to manage. To be successful, the ability to apply and/or develop technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts is needed. You are responsible for prioritizing and accomplishing simultaneous tasks, managing and tracking budgets, and thinking analytically with a problem-solving and systems thinking mindset.

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct the needs of products development and Managements, and sales and marketing
Work with customers and stakeholders to refine and prioritize the backlogs
Provide “product line” perspective to thread teams
Coordinate thread team activities across all threads and other functional groups across the broader organization along with the System Architect
Manage risks, dependencies, and feature commitments for all thread teams
Remove impediments along with the Scrum Master
Schedule meetings to kickoff and review features for capability definition and verification signoff activities
Support the maintenance and execution of internal program system engineering process
Collaborating with stakeholders to define the work so that the integrated team can review, commit, and execute within a defined period
Ensure that the data scientist and data engineering team understand the intent and requirements of feature and user story definitions, and that the team is aligned on all acceptance criteria
Represent customer interests and continuously dictating team backlog priorities.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Project Management, and 5 years of industry related experience.
Experienced Scrum Master (proof of experience needed) – Running Scrums, using Jira, TFS for agile planning
Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes and or working knowledge with aerospace engineering principles.

Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree in a STEM or Project Management and 3 years of industry related experience
PMP Certification
Process management experience
Data analytics experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Salary Range: $90,400 USD – $135,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
