NGSC’s Contracts Administrators are responsible for the administration and oversight of contractual obligations and compliance. They administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. They also conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration in accordance with company policies, legal requirements.
This position will function as a member of the program office staff and reports to the Senior Program Manager on all program related activities and to the Propulsion Systems Contracts Manager for all contracts related activities.
This position will be located in Magna, UT and will be responsible for monitoring the baseline contract activities, and administering anticipated future Task Orders. Provides general program contractual guidance regarding FAR and DFAR requirements and compliance. Administers the on-time and compliant delivery of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL) items. Creates close professional relationship with Air Force Contracting Officer (CO), and with the CO coordinates the start and closure of all contract options. Assists program Supply Chain Manager in subcontract execution that complies with parent contract requirements. Assists in all program market research and proposal efforts.
Job Duties:
Contract interpretation and execution
CDRL and DAL submittals, and some CDRL generation
Proposal cost volume coordination and contractual adherence
General contract compliance oversight
Represent the program office to the customer in matters of a contractual nature
Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator:
Candidate should have at least 6 years of contract management experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of experience with a Master’s degree
A demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and team leadership
Ability to travel: Travel expectation of 5% to 10%
Sound knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
Experience with multiple contract types (e.g. FFP, T&M, CPFF)
U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Contract Administrator:
Candidate should have at least 10 years of contract management experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years of experience with a Master’s degree
A demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and team leadership
Ability to travel: Travel expectation of 5% to 10%
Sound knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
Experience with multiple contract types (e.g. FFP, T&M, CPFF)
U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Prior experience with Air Force Prime Contracts
Experience with incentive fee and award fee contract types (FPIF, CPAF and CPIF)
Existing DoD Secret Clearance
Contract Management Certification(s)

Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to listen as well as communicate up, down, and across organizational structures within and across programs, functions, and organizations and with customers.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining focused results within reliability, quality, schedule, and budget requirements / constraints
Ability to create and present objective justification for contractual/negotiation resolution
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Salary Range: $72,200 USD – $108,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $89,500 USD – $134,300 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
