As a Test Engineer/Principal Test Engineer, you will be developing and sustaining systems using current technologies and others yet to come. What You’ll Get to Do:
Support the software development team focused on DEVSECOPS solutions
Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints
Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions
Participate in, prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures
Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews
Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete
Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing
Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor is appropriate
Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation
This position can be staffed at the a level 2 or 3 based on the basic qualifications below.
Level 2: 2 years of systems and/or test engineering experience with Bachelors in Science (STEM) in a relevant discipline from an accredited college; 0 Years with Masters.
Level 3: 5 years of systems and/or test engineering experience with Bachelors in Science (STEM) in a relevant discipline from an accredited college; or 3 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 0 years with PhD.
Interim DoD Secret clearance
Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
Familiarity or experience with test automation
Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS
Experience in using a discrepancy management tool, such as Jira
Familiarity or experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo
Familiarity or experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket
Familiarity or experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Active DoD Secret clearance
Security + Certification
Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array Warning System (PAWS) (BPP) or other ground-based radars such as the Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS)
Experience in writing scripts using scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, tcl, etc.
Salary Range: $77,200 USD – $115,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $95,100 USD – $142,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
