Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Associate Engineer/ Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support Sentinel (GBSD) program.

What you’ll get to do: 

Develop system level test and integration activities.
Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives, verification requirements, data objectives, and verification cases for test activities in the Integration Labs.
Develop system level test information, planning, and verification diagrams using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/software.
Produce architecture models for the lab environment and test configurations.
Candidate will be required to prepare and brief leadership on the test and integration between system segments.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience with a Bachelors in Science,, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); (Systems Engineer level requires 2 years with a Bachelor’s or 0 years with a Master’s degree)
Experience with system integration and test principles
Active DoD Secret clearance granted or re-investigated within the last 6 years
US Citizen with ability to obtain special program access

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience performing in a Systems/Systems Test Engineering or related technical discipline and understanding of systems engineering principles and processes which include test requirements, test plan development and integration testing
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts
Experience with basic systems engineering toolsets and languages (e.g. DOORS, Cameo, UML, SysML)
Experience with DoDAF standards and methods
Experience operating in an Agile environment
Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
Knowledge of Cameo and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired skillsets include the following: Working knowledge of MBSE tools such as Cameo, knowledge of DOORS, AGILE processes and tools, and previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc.)


Salary Range: $60,600 USD – $91,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $73,400 USD – $110,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
