The Classified Area Engineering Tech (Level 2 or 3) will lead be responsible to execute daily tasks related to maintaining the classified infrastructure for Launch Vehicles Programs in Chandler, AZ. This includes both the physical and digital footprint. The successful candidate will be able to work with cross-functional teams to complete their tasks and coordinate with other functions that their tasks impact or may impact them.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute daily tasks related to maintaining the classified infrastructure directed by their project lead(s) which include the following examples:
Manage IT tickets as needed
Take inventory of and manage IT assets
Responsible for ensuring classified equipment is properly dispositioned during off-cycle and annual disposition runs
Responsible for coordinating the pickup of classified laptops in support of classified meetings with program and customer as needed
Responsible for properly configuring rooms (wall dividers, unplugging unclassified phones) for classified meetings with the program and customer as needed
Maintain standard set of all hardware and software used by engineering disciplines to ensure that engineers have the resources needed to perform their jobs
Procure hardware and software as required
Attend and bring items to Change Management Board as required
Perform Data Transfer Agent duties as required
Ensures successful execution of Closed Area operations
Work with cross-functional teams to meet closed area requirements including facilities, security, and hardware/ software needs


Basic Qualifications

Active Secret clearance in-scope (granted or renewed in the last 6 years).
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of IT and Cybersecurity
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Must be able to perform occasional lifting up to 10 lbs

Level 2

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Level 3

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
Experience in Leadership roles within the Aerospace and Defense industry, or within the military.
Experience working IT projects
Experience in cybersecurity
Experience maintaining facilities for classified work
Experience operating in a SAP environment

Salary Range: $44,800 USD – $74,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $54,300 USD – $88,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
