Strategic Space Systems Division has an opening for a Test Conductor, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

Essential Function Include:

Test of Flight and Non-Flight hardware. Responsible for ensuring engineering tests serve mission objectives and that the necessary mechanisms are in place to execute testing of hardware.
Oversees the set-up and operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management.
Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test Engineering.
This position may require shift work, weekends to complete most assignments.

Basic Qualifications: 

-Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience; OR an Associates degree with 4+ years’ of related experience; OR 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree 

-Must have experience in manufacturing environment 

-Must know how to review drawings, process specification, and work orders. 

-Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to supplement work order and other data requirements. 

-Previous experience as team lead.

-Leadership experience working in collaboration across multiple organizations, contracts, and/or customer relationships 

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

-Experience soldering flight hardware 

-Experience operating robotic equipment 

-Experience working with MS Project 

Salary Range: $77,100.00 – $115,700.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
