Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Project Management/Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Project Manager will join our Test and Evaluation organization located in Melbourne, FL.

The Project Manager will work directly with the Engineering team to manage and direct projects in the design, implementation and modification of projects that span across functional organizations.  Provide oversight of projects and daily tasking of technical and business resources, aspects of the strategic operations rhythm and programmatic implementation support, and provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

In this role, you will be developing and managing multiple team projects, preparing status reports, assessing project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

You will develop tools and methodologies for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers.  You will create templates for presentations and documents and assist with document preparation to ensure quality and consistency across team deliverables.

Essential Functions:

Coordination with internal customers, external customers, partners, suppliers, and project team members
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating processes and process changes to impacted stakeholders
Interfacing with functional roles for staffing and forecasting
Ensuring consistent, predictable team progress to weekly, monthly, and annual goals
Prepare status charts, presentation slides, metrics, and tracking spreadsheets along with leading OneCyber project teams
Manage operational tasks through the implementation of Project Management principles

Basic Qualifications (Project Management):

Bachelor’s degree AND 3 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree AND 1 years of relevant experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment

Basic Qualifications (Principal Project Management):

Bachelor’s degree AND 6 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree AND 4 years of relevant experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in Systems, Applications, & Products (SAP)
Experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: Project Management, Agile Team Management, or Technical Communications
Experience with JIRA or other agile process management tools
Experience working in Cybersecurity environment
Expertise with the entire Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
Current, active DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance
Current Special Active Program (SAP) access

Salary Range: $60,600 USD – $90,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $74,600 USD – $111,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
