Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems wants you to join our team as an Avionics Technician 3 for a rotational OCONUS position out of Edwards, CA.

In this position, you will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Fabricates, installs and tests installation, routing, clamping and wiring harnesses. Read wiring diagrams and blueprints. 2 Operate specialty vehicles. Perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours. Use your ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Relay and receive information. Subject to a variety of physical conditions.

You may receive additional training and be cross utilized into aircraft low observable maintenance to fulfill the daily activities and duties required to meet contract requirements. Low Observable tasks include repair of composite or metallic structures, and sanding, stripping, testing, masking and other preparation tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 yrs of direct relevant experience; Technical diploma/degree and a minimum of 2 yrs of direct relevant experience may also be considered.
Willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Possess and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
Ability to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location
Ability to meet medical requirements which currently includes fully vaccinated for worldwide travel.
 A current DoD Secret clearance with ability to maintain that clearance.
The ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.

Salary Range: $59,400 USD – $99,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
